Fudo Myoo is the best known of all the Myoo, who are wrathful  Buddhist deities.  Fudo converts anger into salvation; has a furious, glaring face and seeks to frighten people into accepting the teachings of Dainichi Buddha. Fudo carries “kurikara” or devil-subduing sword in the right hand (representing wisdom cutting through ignorance); holds rope in the left hand (to catch and bind up demons) and is often seated or standing on rock (because Fudo is "immovable" in his faith).
